When Kristen Hendricks stitched her first vintage inspired handbag in 2002, she resolved the enigma of the modern day fashion accessory; how to create a handbag that was as equally artistic and beautiful as it was functional and durable. In 2004, she told Anew magazine, "I've always designed things I wanted for myself. It just turns out that other people like them too." Hendricks’ bold designs are an expression of herself. Her distinctive use of colors, patterns and materials have created Juxtaposie’s signature artistic style. As best friends, sisters-in-law and co-owners of Juxtaposie Inc., Kristen and Jamie understand the importance of teamwork and the necessity of putting others first. Juxtaposie was created as an avenue for women to achieve their goals and give aid to those with no such opportunities.
